Amber Benson is an American actress singer writer director and producer. Her most well-known role was Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she produced, directed and starred her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also acted as Bride in Kiss the Bride movie. Benson is the daughter, born on January 8th 1977, of Edward and Diane Benson. Danielle Benson is her artistic younger sister. Benson went to an Reform Jewish synagogue as she grew in her teens.
