Lisa Edelstein is an American actress who is best known for her roles in House. Fox medical drama, House. Her family was from Wayne and was raised in a strict Jewish tradition. When she was 18, she emigrated into New York City to study at Tisch School of the Arts. Her performance quickly made her a part of the club scene in New York. Her shows were so captivating that the local press noticed. Then, she used her experiences as well as her celebrity to create and write the musical called Positive Me which she played a role in. She landed her first job at MTV as the host of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. She began to appear in television and film productions following the end of the series.
