Amanda Blake was an American actor who starred in numerous movies and TV series. Her most famous role was her role as the character of Miss Kitty Russell in the TV show 'Gunsmoke'. In addition, she was known for acting in the television series 'The Red Skelton Show', 'Tattletales' and 'The Edge of Night'. Blake, who was once working as a telephone operator was a lover of animals. Along with partner Frank Gilbert, was one among the first individuals to successfully breed cheetahs.
