
Pichai Sundararajan or Sundar Picha (Indian-American business executive) is better known. He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc.'s subsidiary Google. Born in Madurai, India.[4] Pichai graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a degree in metallurgical engineering. He earned an M.S. in the United States following his move to the United States. He earned a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University. He also earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Pennsylvania. Following a brief stint at McKinsey, Pichai moved to Google in 2004. At Google, he was responsible for the creation of Google Drive and was also responsible for the management of products and innovations. Pichai also oversaw the development of Google Maps, Gmail, as well as other applications. Pichai launched WebM in 2010, and also announced open-sourcing the latest codec to play video by Google. The Chromebook was released in 2012. In 2013 Pichai included Android to the list of Google products he oversees.
